Section 28(1) in The Juvenile Justice (Care And Protection Of Children) Rules, 2007
(1)When a child is brought before the Committee, the Committee shall assign the case to a social worker or caseworker or child welfare officer or Officer-in-Charge, as the case may be, of the institution or any recognised agency for conducting the inquiry through an order in Form XII.
