(a)The Grama Panchayat at a meeting shall sanction the term of the lease or agreement for the lease keeping in view the period of lease fixed by the [Sub-Collector] [Substituted by S.R.O.No. 648/99 vide Orissa Gazette Extraordinary No. 1183, Dated, 16.8.1999.], Lease for any term exceeding three years and less than 5 years and for any term exceeding 5 years shall not be made without the previous approval of the Collector and State Government respectively.
