Section 8(1) in The Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy (Revenue Survey and Record of Rights) Rules, 1967
(1)The area and classification of survey numbers and sub-divisions of survey numbers shall be recorded in a book or embodied in a plane table map in such forms as shall be prescribed by the Director of Land Survey for such survey. The said books or maps shall be preserved as a record of the survey.
