Section 70 in The Assam Co-operative Societies Act, 1949
70. Power of Registrar to direct payment of dues.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in Chapter X, the Registrar or such other person as may be authorised by him in this behalf may, on his own motion or on the written requisition of a registered society or an affiliating society or a defaulting member, after making such enquiry as he deems fit, grant a Co-operative Demand Certificate for the recovery of the amount found to be due.
