Section 4(f) in Tamil Nadu Timber Transit Rules, 1968
(f)The permit in Form I or Form II shall be valid for the time specified in the permit which shall be determined with reference to the actual time required for the transport of timber, firewood or bamboos, and shall not exceed a period of one month from the date of the issue of the permit.
