(2)Where any such provident fund has been so constituted under rules, which have been approved by the [Kulpati (Vice-Chancellor)] [Substituted by U.P Act 29 of 1974, vide Section 27 for The Vice-Chancellor] the Chancellor may declare that the provisions of the Provident Funds Act, 1925, shall apply to such fund as if it were a Government Provident Fund.
