Section 2(b) in The Orissa Public Libraries Act, 2001
(b)"book" includes -(i)every volume, part of division of a volume, and pamphlet, in any language;(ii)every sheet of music, map, chart or plan separately printed or lithographed; and(iii)newspapers, periodicals, paintings, film slides paper manuscripts, plan leaf manuscripts, micro-films and discs or tape used for audio-visual information or electronic information for the purpose of providing services to the public;
