(b)"agriculture" includes the basic and applied sciences (including technology) relating to soil and water management, crop husbandry (including control of plant, pests and diseases), horticulture, agricultural engineering, [***] [Deleted 'animal husbandry dairying, veterinary, fisheries, marine biology' by Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998 (Mah. Act No. 17 of 1998).], forestry and also home science, co-operation and marketing relating to agriculture;
