The officer-in-charge of the police-station shall enquire if the candidate fulfils the requirements of Rule 6 (a) and his character and antecedents and shall forward such application with his report to the [Sub-divisional Police-officer] [Substituted vide Orissa Gazette Part III-A/26.10.1984.] who in turn submits it to the [Superintendent of police of the district] [Substituted vide Orissa Gazette Part III-A/26.10.1984.]
