Section 2(1)(a) in The Trading With The Enemy (Continuance Of Emergency Provisions) Act, 1947

(a)the provisions of the Defence of India Rules mentioned in the first column of the Schedule to this Act shall con- tinue in force, and shall have effect subject to the modi- fications specified in the second column thereof;
