It is contended that the petitioner has represented to the respondents for grant of the benefit of pay fixation, as has been granted to the petitioner in CWP No.319 of 1997, titled Hira Lal vs. State of H.P. and others, which came to be decided by this Court vide judgment dated 7th June, 2008. However, the respondents have failed to redress his grievance.

2. Despite the pendency of the writ petition since the year 2011, the respondents have not filed any reply so far.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to examine the case of the petitioner in light of the averments contained in the writ petition and the judgment, referred to above, and make a decision within a period of six weeks from today. Pending CMPs, if any, also stand disposed of.
