Section 31(2)(iii) in The Rajasthan Accounts Service Rules, 1954

(iii)the Government may fill a vacancy in the [senior, selection and super time] [Substituted for expression 'senior and selection' by No. F. 1(20)DOP/A-II/84, 17-7-1987.] grade temporarily by appointing thereto for a period not exceeding one year in an officiating capacity any member of the Service in the ordinary grade or senior grade [or selection scale] [Inserted by No. F. 1(20)DOP/A-II/84, 17-7-1987.] who is eligible for appointment under the rules or any officer taken on deputation from the Indian Accounts and Audit Department. No such appointment shall be continued beyond a period of one year without referring it to the Commission for their concurrence and shall be terminated immediately on their refusal to concur.
