5. Super time scale District Judges.
- Ten per centum of the posts in the cadre of District Judges who have put in three years of service as Selection Grade District Judges in the cadre shall be granted Super Time Scale of Pay and they shall be selected on the basis of merit-cum-seniority from amongst the Selection Grade District Judges:Provided that High Court may in appropriate case relax the requirement of three years of service as Selection Grade District Judge for selection of Super Time Scale District Judge.Explanation - For the purpose of Rules 4 and 5, the expressions of "Selection Grade Pay" and "Super Time Scale of Pay" shall, respectively, mean the scale of pay as prescribed in Clause 4 of the Resolution No. 23598/F dated 3.6.2003 of the Finance Department of the Government and as may be modified from time to time.Part-III
