Section 2(1)(ca) in The Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1963

(ca)"Buyer" means a person, the Central Government or any State Government, who himself or itself or on behalf of any person or agent buys or agrees to buy agricultural produce in the market area.
