(9)No order passed by the Settlement Officer under sub-section (1) or subsection (5) shall be liable to be cancelled or modified except by the [Board of Revenue] [The Board of Revenue was abolished by the Tamil Nadu Board of Revenue Abolition Act, 1980 (Tamil Nadu Act 36 of 1980). Now the Commissioner of Land Administration, vide G. O. Ms. No. 2675, Revenue, dated the 1st December 1980] as aforesaid; and no order passed by the [Board of Revenue] [The Board of Revenue was abolished by the Tamil Nadu Board of Revenue Abolition Act, 1980 (Tamil Nadu Act 36 of 1980). Now the Commissioner of Land Administration, vide G. O. Ms. No. 2675, Revenue, dated the 1st December 1980.] under subsections (6), (7) or (8) shall be liable to be cancelled or modified by the Government or any other authority.
