Section 49A in Himachal Pradesh Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Development Banks Act, 1979
49A. [ Employees etc. to be public servants. ['49-A' added vide H.P. Act No. 16 of 1987 w.e.f. 16-11-1987.]
- Any employee of the Agriculture and Rural Development Bank engaged in the recovery of loans under the provisions of this Act or the rules or any person appointed as liquidator or arbitrator shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (45 of 1860)].
