17. Resignations.
- Any member, other than an ex officio member, of the Syndicate, the Academic Council or any other University Authority or Committee may resign by letter addressed to the Registrar and the resignation shall take effect as soon as such letter is received by the Registrar.Provided that an Ordinary Fellow shall resign his office by letter addressed to the Chancellor and his resignation shall take effect as soon as such letter is received by the Chancellor.Any officer of the University (whether salaried or otherwise), other than a Dean, may resign his office by letter addressed to the Registrar.
