CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR
ORAL JUDGMENT

Date: 02-11-2018 Heard learned counsel for the parties. This is an appeal under Sections 14(A)(2) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, against refusal of the prayer for anticipatory bail by order dated 18.07.2018 in A.B.P. No.5119 of 2018 passed by the learned Special Judge, SC/ST-cum-Additional Sessions Judge-V, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 333 of 2018 (arising out of N.T.P.C. P.S.Case No.45 of 2018) registered under Sections 447,341,323,307,504,34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 3(i)(r) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act.

During a dance programme, the appellant allegedly assaulted with Chaku at the head of the informant. The Doctor Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.3162 o f 2018 dt.02-11-2018 2/2 has found longitudinal sharp cut wound on the scalp of the informant.

Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the appellant on anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, this appeal stands dismissed.
