Section 49(1) in The Gujarat Ayurved University Act, 2021
(1)No officer or employee or member of teaching, non-teaching and other academic staff of the University shall be dismissed or removed or reduced in rank except after an inquiry in which he has been informed of the charges against him and given a reasonable opportunity of being heard in respect of those charges:Provided that nothing in this section shall apply to any person who is appointed on purely temporary basis only.
