Section 12(1) in The U.P. Basic Education Act, 1972
(1)The Director may, from time to time, inspect or cause to be inspected any basic school [* * *] [Omitted by U.P. Act No. 5 of 1977 (w.e.f. 21.4.1977).] and also the records and proceedings of the local body concerning or connected with discharge of the functions of the local body in respect of basic education.
