8. Relaxation.
- The [Chief Executive] [Substituted 'Chairman' by Notification No. G.S.R. 477(E), dated 7.7.2021.] may, subject to the provisions of sub-rule (2) of rule 4, by general or special instruction, relax any of the provisions of these rules in case of employees belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-emergency Officers or Short-commissioned Officers.
