(1)The Kerala Police Act, 1960 (5 of 1961) is hereby repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken or any proceedings initiated under the repealed Act shall be deemed to have been done or taken or initiated under the corresponding provisions of this Act:Provided that any notification or order or rule or bye-law made or issued under the repealed Act and not inconsistent with the provisions of the Act shall continue to remain in force until the same is superceded by any notification or order or rule or bye-law made or issued under this Act and the same shall be deemed to have been made or issued under the provisions of this Act.
