124L. Chapter to have overriding effect, but shall be in addition, to existing local authority laws.
(1)The provisions of this Chapter shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in this Act or any other law for the time being in force(2)Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), the provisions of this Chapter shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, any other provisions of this Act or any law relating to municipal corporation, municipal council or other local authority of any urban area.
