Section 1 in The Assam Education (Provincialisation of Services of Teachers and Re-Organisation of Educational Institutions) Act, 2017
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called The Assam Education (Provincialisation of Services of Teachers and Re-organisation of Educational Institutions) Act, 2017.(2)It extends to the whole of Assam.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act or for different category of educational institutions.
