(2)Every contract other than a contract such as is referred to in sub-section (1) shall be sanctioned by the [Board] [Substituted by Act 24 of 1936, S.69, for "Cantonment Authority" ] or by the Executive Officer on behalf of the [Board] [Substituted by Act 24 of 1936, S.69, for "Cantonment Authority" ]].
