Section 24(1) in The Chanakya National Law University Act, 2006
(1)The first Statutes of the University shall be made by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Chancellor. They shall be placed before the General Council at its first meeting, which may adopt them with or without modifications. Subsequent amendments or modifications in the Statutes shall be made by the Executive Council with the approval of the General Council.
