Section 34 in The West Bengal Comprehensive Area Development Act, 1974

34. Certain persons to be deemed to be public servants. -

The members of the Corporation and of the Council and persons in the service of the Corporation shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
