Section 204(5) in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964
(5)Officers whilst enrolled shall be allowed to retain their Commissions and to wear, on State and other occasions of ceremony, the uniform of their rank at the time of resignation or of any higher rank to which they may be subsequently promoted, but they shall not be entitled to receive pay or pension when not employed.
