(8)An officer not below the rank of an Assistant Mining Engineer authorised under sub-rule (1) or the assessing authority may after giving the dealer/lessee an opportunity of being heard and holding such further inquiry as he may consider fit, realize from him, for the possession of mineral not accounted for, the cost of mineral at [10] [Substituted by Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary dated 12/08/1994] times of royalty.
