140. Section 40 of Bombay XXVIII of 1947 not to apply to alienation in favour of [Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Multipurpose Development Bank] [These words were substituted for the words 'State Agriculture and Rural Development Bank' and 'Agriculture and Rural Development Bank' by Maharashtra 41 of 2005, (w.e.f. 25-8-2005), Section 8.].
- Nothing contained in section 40 of the Bombay Agricultural Debtors Relief Act, 1947, or any corresponding law for the time being in force in any part of the State shall apply to any alienation in favour of the [Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Multipurpose Development Bank] [These words were substituted for the words 'State Agriculture and Rural Development Bank' and 'Agriculture and Rural Development Bank' by Maharashtra 41 of 2005, (w.e.f. 25-8-2005), Section 8.].
