Section 18(2) in The Maharashtra Irrigation (Pimpri Water Supply) Rules, 1964
(2)If any payments due under these rules remain in arrears for any cause whatsoever, the supply of water shall be stopped by the orders of the Executive Engineer until the arrears are paid.
