Section 59(5) in Bombay Primary Education Act, 1947
(5)The Board so constituted shall exercise all the powers and perform all the duties of the Board of Primary Education under this Act.][(6) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1) on the date of the coming into force of this Act in the Saurashtra area and the Kutch area of the State, the Board constituted under this section and existing on the said date shall be deemed to be constituted for the whole of the State:Provided that, having regard to the extension of the jurisdiction of the Board as aforesaid, the State Government may nominate such number of additional members on the Board as it may think fit.]
