Section 6 in The Chennai Corporation Engineering Service Rules, 1969
6. Reservation of appointments.
- The rule of reservation of appointments to the Backward Classes, the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in rule 22 of the General Rules for the State and Subordinate Services for the time being in force shall apply to appointment to the service by direct recruitment.
