Section 32(2) in The Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002
(2)The Chairperson or any other Member shall not be removed from his office except by an order made by the Central Government on the ground of proved misbehaviour or incapacity, after an inquiry made by a person appointed by the President in which such Chairperson or any other Member concerned had been informed of the charges against him and given a reasonable opportunity of being heard in respect of those charges:[Provided that the Chief Justice of India shall be consulted before removal of the Chairperson or a Member who was appointed on the recommendation of the Chief Justice of India.] [Inserted by Act 21 of 2009, Section 10.]
