Section 17(1) in Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University Chennai (Affiliation of Dental Colleges) Statutes
(1)The provisional affiliation granted by the University shall be only for the First Year B.D.S. Degree Course of study. Thereupon, the college shall be permitted to admit students in such number in the First Year B.D.S. Degree Course of study as the University decides and shall nominate an expert in Medical Science as its member to represent the interest of the University in the governing body of the Dental College.
