Section 8(1) in The Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999
(1)A concession agreement for undertaking a project may be entered into with a person who is selected through a competitive public bidding as provided in section 9 or by [competitive bidding, inviting comparative bids as provided in section 10 or by direct negotiation as provided in section 10A] [Substituted for 'direct negotiation as provided in section 10' by Gujarat 18 of 2006, dated 31st March, 2006 (w.e.f. 15-05-2006).].
