In all matters tried by the Family Court under the Family Courts Act, no fee shall be fixed, provided however, that the Court may if it is of the opinion that any party had been put to great hardship before or during the pendency of the proceedings, direct the other party to pay costs of not less than Rs. 1,000/- and not more than Rs. 5,000/- depending upon its discretion.Part-IIHigh Court
