Section 12(3) in The M.P. Maternity Benefit Rules, 1965
(3)When an appeal is received, the Competent Authority shall call upon the said Inspector to produce before him, before a fixed date, a copy of his decision and other documents concerning the decision. The Competent Authority shall, if necessary, also record the statement of the aggrieved person, and the Inspector and seek clarification if required any.
