(1)The Librarian shall be a whole time salaried officer appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of a Selection Committee constituted for the purpose, and shall possess such qualifications, and exercise such powers and perform such duties, as are prescribed by the Statutes. He shall be assisted by a Committee appointed for the purpose.
