Section 2(a) in The Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011
(a)"Act" means the Legal Metrology Act 2009, (1 of 2010);(aa)[ "Consumer" shall have the same meaning as assigned to it in clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (68 of 1986);] [Inserted by Notification No. G.S.R. 629(E), dated 23.6.2017 (w.e.f. 7.3.2011).]
