Section 2(3)(e) in The Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Staff of Department of Technical Education) Act, 2012

(e)"deputation" means deployment of the services of staff, fully or partially, from one Office/Government Engineering Colleges/Government Polytechnics and Government Junior Technical Schools/Steric of the Department of Technical Education where he is working to another Office or Government Engineering Colleges/Government Polytechnics and Government Junior Technical Schools/Steric without shifting the lien;
