Section 39D in The Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1963
39D. Member not disqualified from contesting elections or as members of State Legislature or local authorities.
Notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force, a member of the State Marketing Board referred to in clause (vi) or (viii) of section 39B shall not be disqualified for being chosen as, and for being, a member of the State Legislature or councillor of any local authority, merely by reason of the fact that he is a member of the State Marketing Board.
