COMMON ORDER:

(Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Hima Kohli)

1. On the last date of hearing, learned Advocate General had sought time to examine the averments made in the present petitions as also in W.P. (PIL) No.110 of 2020 and inform the court on the next date as to which of the matters should be retained for orders instead of multiple petitions on the same cause of action.

2. Today, learned Advocate General states that he has perused the writ petitions and requests that W.P. (PIL) No.110 of 2020, being more comprehensive, be retained for purposes of orders while closing the present petitions.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners in W.P.No.38716 of 2017 states that the said petition has been filed by two private parties with a prayer to restrain Osmania University (respondent No.1 therein) from interfering with their possession of Plot Nos.4 and 6 situated in Survey Nos.80/2, TS No.2/1, Ward No.159, Block-1, Amberpet, D.D. Colony, Hyderabad, and the said petition was listed before a learned Single Judge. However, it has been tagged along with W.P.(PIL) No.110 of 2020 in terms of order dated 23.06.2020 passed therein. Learned counsel states that the petitioners in the said petition W.P.No.16688 of 2008 & batch Page 1 of 2 have in fact moved an impleadment application in W.P.(PIL) No.110 of 2020, which may be allowed.

4. In view of the above submissions, all the present petitions are closed along with the pending applications, if any. Liberty is granted to the petitioners in W.P.Nos.8700 and 43411 of 2018 to file impleadment applications in W.P(PIL).No.110 of 2020.
