Section 7 in The National Law University, Jodhpur Act, 1999
7. Visitor of the University.
(1)The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India shall be the Visitor of the University.(2)The Visitor shall preside over the convocation of the University.(3)The Visitor shall have the right to call for the report on any matter pertaining to the affairs of the University.
