Section 166(2) in The Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989
(2)Every goods carriage with a trailer and tractor-trailer combination shall be fitted with an electric device so as to cause an alaram by working of a buzzer in the driver's cabin on account of failure of the towing mechanism and discoupling of the trailer.
