Information sought:
The complainant sought information regarding recognition status in India of MRCP and MRCS Post-Graduate qualifications from Royal College of Physicians/Surgeons, Ireland.
Relevant facts emerging during hearing:
The complainant is not present. The complainant filed an RTI application on 20.02.2014 seeking the above information. On not receiving any response from the CPIO within prescribed time, complainant filed first appeal. The FAA did not dispose of the appeal.
The respondent stated that complete information as available on record was provided to the complainant vide letter dated 18.03.2014. On query by the Commission as to whether the first appeal of the complainant was disposed of or not, the respondent stated that the first appeal of the complainant was disposed of vide order dated 23.05.2014, upholding the reply of the CPIO and submitted of the copy of the same before the Commission.
In the absence of the complainant, his views cannot be ascertained. Decision:
After hearing the respondents and on perusal of record, the Commission finds that that information has already been provided to the complainant and no further action is required in the matter.
The complaint is disposed of accordingly.
