(1)These rules may be called the Punjab State [Lotterys] [Substituted for 'Lottery' vide Punjab Government Notification No. G.S.R. 78/C.A. 17/98/S. 12/Amd. (3)/2001, dated 20.6.2001.], Rules, 1999.(2)They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the official Gazette.(3)They shall apply to all the lotteries organised, conducted and run by the State Government.
