Section 28(4) in Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Act, 1987
(4)The Board shall have power to recognise any degree, diploma or certificate granted by an approved institution as equivalent to a corresponding degree, diploma or certificate of the University. The University shall for this purpose prescribe, by Statutes, the conditions and the manner according to which an approved institution shall hold its examinations.
