(6)If President, on representation made or otherwise, and after making such inquiry as may be necessary, is of the opinion that the continuance of the Director in the office is not in the interest of the University, he shall, by an order direct the Director to relinquish his office from the date specified in the order. Such order of the President shall be subject to the ratification by the Governing Council:Provided that before taking an action under this sub-section, the Director shall be given an opportunity of being heard.
