Section 2(i) in The M.P. Vidyut Sudhar Adhiniyam, 2000
(i)"Licensee" or "Licence Holder" means a person licensed under Part V of this Act to transmit or supply electricity and shall include a person licensed under Section 3 or who has been given (he sanction under Section 28 of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910 (Act 9 of 1910) prior to the coming into force of this Act;
